[VI-618] Application of the composite wall for permanent and temporary "J-WALL® II method" which enables underground wall construction in narrow space
Keywords:Underground wall, Composite structure, Hat-shaped steel sheet pile, Seismic isolation retrofit, Used for permanent stuructures
Recently, especially in urban areas, earthquake-resistant construction of existing structures and repair work for the purpose of improving convenience or barrier-free are increasing. In these cases, construction of underground wall is required in an extremely narrow space while existing structures are being used. In the Kagawa Prefecture Government Office East Building seismic renovation currently under construction, the underground wall to be newly built around the building is close to the road, the adjacent land boundary, and the existing underground structure. In areas particularly narrow and confined site, the composite wall for permanent and temporary "J-WALL® II method" is adopted.
