[VI-701] The temperature stress analysis and monitoring on reducing time interval of pouring concrete layers in Sabo Dam construction test
Keywords:Sabo Dam, construction test, pouring concrete time interval, temperature stress analysis, temperature cracks, monitoring
In order to improve the productivity of the Sabo dam construction, the test was conducted to reduce the time interval for pouring each layer of concrete of the vertical wall that prevents the debris flow direct collision. The mentioned test studies the behavior of thermal cracks through the analysis of thermal stress and test monitoring. Here, it is assumed that the risk of thermal cracking for the case of interval reduction is similar to the conventional case. During the monitoring, the temperature, strength and strain of the structure have been measured and analyzed. The comparison between the test analysis and measurements confirm the safety of temperature cracks. Thus, the risk of crack is low.
