In 2031, about 50 years will have passed since the Joetsu Shinkansen and the Tohoku Shinkansen be-gan service, and large-scale renovation of Shinkansen infrastructure is planned for extending the life of those lines. We measured the 3D data of Shinkansen structure to build MIM of large-scale renovation of Shinkansen infrastructure.We analyzed the basic research on generating 3D model of railway structure using Laser Profilerdata.
