The lower surface of the concrete floor slab of the steel bridge is often checked using a bridge inspection car, but there is a problem that traffic control is required. Furthermore, in the steel truss bridge, there are diagonal members, vertical members, etc. Application of inspection car is difficult. In the case of a long bridge , an inspection path is usually provided, but it is a difficult place to inspect except the inspection path.In this research, in order to conduct inspection of the steel bridge concrete slab efficiently, we developed a device that performs inspection by bringing a digital camera and a hammer unit close to each other by extending and retracting the rod.
