[VI-852] Applying Performance Verification Design to Pile Foundation of Movable Fence on Embankment Platform

There is a growing need to install movable fences to ensure safety on the platform. In the embankment type platform, the force to the fence resists the foundation. First, the required performance and the force of the pile were organized. Next, full-scale experiments and their inverse analysis were performed. Two conclusions were obtained by these examinations. 1. As a result of the experiment, lateral displacement was slight and showed elastic behavior. 2. As a result of inverse analysis by the Beam Theory on Elastic Foundation on this experimental results, the design soil spring corresponds to about half the stiffness of the soil spring estimated from the ground survey results.
