As for the old line, a track may be laid in the point crossing the valley exit of the mountain stream and a mud flood occurs at the time of the rain, and the earth and sand flow in in a track and might threaten the safe transportation of the train. I take measures including the new establishment of the bank which does not get the rain driving regulation with the railroad rain gauge, erosion control against the mud flood. However, a difference may be seen in a way of going down rain at the place apart from a track, and the mud flood disaster risk still stays. I examined mud flood outbreak degree of risk evaluation technique in the remote mountain stream area from the cause of such a background, a track.
