[VI-958] Construction measures by large-scale solpe greening technology in mine site management
Keywords:wood-chip concrete, greening, mine site, higly acidic soil, water drain system
The highly acidic soil is becoming when the pyrite of a rock weathered in the closed mine site after several decades. As a result, vegetation declined and soil erosion, slope collapse advances by heavy rain. We needed for environmental remediation measures in the mine site by a greening technology with cement and wood chips, "Chipcrete". We investigated to inspect the effect of this technology in test field for three years, it was adopted to slope greening of highly acidic soil. This greening technology functioned effectively to three years or more after construction in the large-scale slope.
