At the 2019 national convention, the Continuing Education Implementation Committee and the Planning Committee Young Power Up Subcommittee jointly held a research discussion meeting entitled "Thinking about the" learning "of civil engineers in the coming era." The joint event brought together a wide variety of members, from young technicians to mid-careers and seniors, to a meaningful discussion. Everyone had a high awareness of the issues of "learning" among engineers, and this was a debate where many meaningful proposals were made regarding future continuing education. This text summarizes the results of the discussions, issues and proposals made by each group.
