[CS10-33] LOAD BEARING CAPACITY OF ROAD LIGHTING POLE INSTALLED ON BRIDGES

In past earthquakes, collapsing and falling off pillar-type structures such as lighting poles installed on bridges have been confirmed.It is important to evaluate the seismic resistance of the lighting pole. In this study, a static loading test was performed on a model specimen of a lighting pole, and the order and form of failure of it when an external force was applied was determined. In addition, the fracture order of the members in the experiment was evaluated by FEA.As a result, it was shown that the yield of the anchor bolt precedes. At the end of the test, there was no sudden drop in load such as breakage of anchor bolts or buckling of openings.
