[CS11-15] Influence of nonlinear constitutive law on dynamic rupture simulation for fault displacement evaluation
Keywords:dynamic rupture simulation, fault displacement, constitutive row, parallel finit element method, FrontISTR
An evaluation of the effects of displacements excited in weak layers such as fracture zones near nuclear power plants is required from the viewpoint of margin and probabilistic risk assessment. The dynamic rupture simulation using the finite difference method and the finite element method has an advantage in that it can consider the dynamic spontaneous rupture of the fault. On the other hand, it is necessary to give a nonlinear constitutive law to the fault in the analysis, but there are various methods used by the performers. In this study, the effect of the nonlinear constitutive law on the analysis results is focused on, and the conditions that give equivalent analysis results are examined.
