This study proposed a low-cost IoT based real-time bridge bearing displacement system, the measurement unit of which meanly consists of a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B (RPi) single-board computer, AD/DA converter module for RPi, and a Keyence laser sensor IA-100. Shaking table tests and on-site monitoring were conducted to verify the accuracy of the proposed method.
