[CS3-11] Renewal Design for Pedestorian Deck at Fujisawa Station

This report describes the design work for the renewal of the deck of Fujisawa Station, which was completed in 1979 and is a pioneering case of the station front deck. The designer was selected in an open proposal (a kind of design competition) sponsored by Fujisawa City , and the following performance requirements were met from the basic plan (proposed at the time of the competition) to the detailed design.
1)Aptly dressed as the entrance to the city. The design allows you to feel the sun and greenery
2)Implementing a universal design that is easy for everyone to use, both on a daily basis and during several events a year.
3)Reinforced to withstand earthquakes and not to increase the load.
