[CS9-21] Development of magnetic resonance scanners for the nondestructive in-situ measurements of polymer products
Keywords:polymer, in-situ measurement, nondestructive evaluation, nuclear magnetic resonance
Polymer products (rubber and bond) are often used in diverse fields of civil engineering. The attack by the sun light, oxygen, and high temperature may cause the degradation of the products in terms of the mechanical strength and function. We are developing single-sided proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) surface scanner for the nondestructive in-situ measurements of such polymer degradation. The principle and current status of the development project would be presented.
