Keywords: TMCP, fire accident, Material properties. Safety Evaluation

TMCP steels, which are the steels made by Thermo-Mechanical Controlling Process, is one of the crucial component of a modern bridge. Comparing to the conventional method, TMCP involves additional rolling process and water cooling process, which makes the steel having a stronger material properties and being widely used in lots of infrastructure projects. When the fire accident happens, it is crucial to figure out if these kind of infrastructures are safe. In this research, a series of material tests are carried out to evaluate the effect of high temperature and the different heat lasting time on the mechanical properties due to the change of the steel grain size and the space is investigated.
