In this study, numerical investigations were conducted to confirm the mitigation effects by aramid FRP sheets reinforcement on the scabbing of RC slabs. Numerical results qualitatively reproduced the mitigation effects in terms of failure status, strain and acceleration responses, though it is necessary to improve the numerical model in the future to reproduce the test result well.
