[I-189] Hybrid Simulation for High Damping Rubber Bearing Under Low Temperature
Keywords:Low Temperature, High Damping Rubber Bearing, Hybrid Simulation, Self-heating
In this study, static cyclic loading and hybrid simulation tests for High Damping Rubber Bearing were conducted to clarify its seismic behavior under low temperature. A hybrid simulation is a dynamic test that combines an analytical model and an actual experiment. Temperature conditions were three patterns of 23, 0, -20℃. From the static cyclic loading tests, the shear modulus of elasticity for each temperature were summarized. The stiffness increased with the decreasing of temperature. However, as the loading progressed, the difference in stiffness between room temperature and low temperature became smaller due to the effect of self-heating.
