As one of the seismic isolation devices, there is a high damping laminated rubber bearing in which the rubber itself has a high damping performance. For this purpose, it is important to clarify the dependence of the mechanical properties of high damping laminated rubber bearings and their influence on seismic response. In this study, the mechanical characteristics of a high damping laminated rubber bearing were determined by conducting experiments using a laminated rubber specimen, and especially the maximum empirical strain dependence was examined.
