[I-321] A construction test of IH coat removal method in steel deck truss bridge diagonal member

IH coat removal method heats the surface of steel-materials in an electromagnetic induction action, and destroys the bonded surface of a coating film and steel materials, moreover removes the coating films formed by two or more layers at once. A truss bridge, with few operation track records, is not known about the deformation at the time of heating sufficiently. Especially, diagonal member, designed as an axial tension component, the deformation at the situation of heating may become large. We carried out the construction test of I section diagonal member as preparation which applies IH coat removal method to the 3-span steel deck truss bridge. Consequently, we confirmed the safety of heating work.
