In recent years, the number of cases in which existing mooring facilities need to be improved due to enlargement of ships. Tabata et al. Summarize the improvement method of existing mooring facilities, and describe the idea of constructing a new sheet pile type structure in front of existing sheet piles and caissons, and to bear all the loads acting on the new structure. On the other hand, the authors examined the influence of the existing structure on the design when a new sheet pile type structure is installed in front of the existing sheet pile type mooring berth. In this report, we will continue to report on the construction of a sheet pile type structure in front of the existing gravity type.
