Keywords:Transmission tower, Rehabilitation management

The scale of transmission tower patrol and inspection work has been gradually reduced due to personnel or cost reduction. Therefore, in case if tower malfunction happens, it is inevitable that we need more time to discover the problem. In this paper, author suggest a method to monitor transmission tower using acceleration sensor that will ensure personnel safety and enable the detection of abnormalities at an early stage. An acceleration sensor is installed on the transmission tower, and phenomena such as earthquakes and typhoons are identified based on the acceleration response waveform obtained from the sensor.
