[I-20] Corrosion resistance of Sn bearing steel at paint defect of repairing coating on rusted steel structures.

Sn bearing steel has been developed based on the corrosion mechanism at paint defect under atmospheric corrosion environment containing high amount of air borne salt particles. We have already reported the corrosion resistance of the steel by long term exposure test and accelerated corrosion test, and confirm that the steel shows a superior corrosion resistance at paint defect on both the initial and repairing coating under severe corrosion condition. The steel is expected to expand the life time of coated steel structures. In this report, we will introduce the corrosion behavior at paint defect on repairing coating on difference prepared the rusted surface of steel samples.
