[II-153] Consideration on serviceability judging criteria of mooring facilities applying the strength characteristics of piles with different diameter-to-thickness ratios (Part 2)
Keywords:Large-scale earthquake, Information observed by strong motion seismographs, Judgment of serviceability of quay, Effective stress earthquake response analysis, FLIP, Steel pipe pile
The technical standards and explanations for harbor facilities revised in April 2018 adopt a new modeling method that takes into account the strength characteristics of steel pipe members with different diameter ratios. Therefore, effective stress seismic response analysis was performed using a new modeling method for 25 of the most important pier-type and sheet-pile mooring berths with steel pipe members as the main members, and the service feasibility criteria were updated. . This paper compares the new standard with the technical standards of the existing port facilities and the thresholds set by the modeling method in the explanation and analyzes the tendency.
