It is important to understand the tsunami run-up in rivers for a disaster prevention. We aim to clarify the propagation characteristics of the breaking bores in a meandering river. The two-dimensional calculation was conducted using the shallow water equation for the bores in the meandering channel. In the case of a bore whose initial downstream water depth is close to Dry, the calculation result cannot be expressed due to the influence of reflected wave and shock wave. In the case of bore with sufficient downstream water depth, the experimental results are almost expressed. It is considered that the difference in the reproducibility is affected by the difference in the propagation speed.
