[II-193] Identification of turbid water source of Kamishiiba dam

The prolonged turbid water at Kamishiiba Dam is damaging the downstream water environment. It is a serious problem that needs to be resolved. The purpose of this research was to identify the source of turbidity and verify the suppression effect of turbidity generation. Various sediment samples from upstream rivers and landslides scattered across the Mimi river and Fudono river basins were compared to the mineral and chemical composition of the sediment of the Kamishiiba Dam by XRD analysis and XRF analysis to identify the source of turbidity. As a result, it was determined that the sediment source was from the Fudono River basin.
