Keywords:tsunami prediction, oceanographic radar, signal-noise ratio

At the Hamaoka NPS, a tsunami monitoring Oceanographic Radar was installed to monitor the tsunami. In order to perform accurate tsunami forecasting, accurate observations are needed. In the previous study, the original flow velocity calculation algorithm was examined and the calculation conditions were determined. This time, the validity of the velocity value was confirmed by comparing and verifying the velocity value obtained by the method and the current system velocity value. In addition, since the observation noise is considered to be due to marine conditions and seasonal effects, we analyzed the noise characteristics of Oceanographic Radar using the observation data at Hamaoka NPS.
