Jakarta currently nominated as the fastest-sinking cities in the world. The president of Indonesia was proposing to relocate the capital city due to its frequent occurrence of flood which often caused catastrophe. Two different places have been pointed out to be the future capital city candidate yet, a profound feasibility study about its flood risk and water-related risk has not done yet. Therefore, this study is presenting a comprehensive investigation on flood risk mapping using combination of remote sensing entity combined with ground-based data to be further processed into Integrated Flood Analysis System (IFAS) software.
