Keywords:drifting debris, urban coastal areas, fluctuation quantity, visual observation, wind conditions

We examined the relationship between fluctuation quantity of drifting debris and natural force in front of quay wall of urban coastal areas.
The field survey was conducted by visual observation.
We focused on the days when the quantity of drifting debris increased, and those were analyzed with the data of tidal change and wind conditions of the days.
In this survey, it was suggested that along the coast of Nishinomiya-City located inner part of Osaka Bay, the fluctuation quantity of drifting debris was more affected by wind conditions than tidal change.
