We focused on the natural vibration characteristics of a rock slope and measured the driving vibration using a driving vehicle as a vibration source. Two peaks were found at about 20 Hz and about 50 Hz, which were inferred to be due to the prominence of the slope surface layer. In this paper, surface wave surveys and simple penetration tests are carried out to clarify the surface structure of the slope, and the inferred mechanism of these higher-order prominence oscillations is verified by the predominance of the rock slope surface.
