斜面内に雨水が浸透することで斜面の不安定化に影響を及ぼすことから，斜面表層部における雨水の浸透量を把握することは，斜面の安定性評価を行うに当たり重要な位置付けである．そこで本研究では，浸透能に影響を及ぼす要因の一つである斜面勾配に着目し，斜面勾配以外の諸条件を統一することで，斜面勾配が浸透能へ与える影響について検討し，評価手法の提案を行う．その結果，降雨強度と浸透能との関係を最大浸透能Icにより表すことが出来た。また，斜面勾配と最大浸透能Icとの間には正の良い相関関係があり，最大浸透能Icを用いることで，斜面勾配ごとの浸透能を算出できる可能性を見出せた．
