[III-37] Effect on estimating time of landslide by changing patterns of rainfall using Extension Unsteady H-SLIDER model for natural slope

〇Taisuke 森本 Morimoto1 (1.Kyushu University)

Keywords:landslide, predicting time of landslide, H-slider, intensity of rainfall, West Japan area heavy rainfall in July 2018

Now in Japan, landslides are occurring caused by heavy rainfalls. It is difficult to predict the time of landslide. In this research, we chose landslide occurred in 2018 at Furusato-cho, Kagoshima pref. to study predicting time of land slide occurrence. We used “H-slider”, which is modified by simple steady-state slope stability model. As a result of this research, estimated time of landslide at Furusato-cho, Kagoshima Pref., by using Extension Unsteady H-slider was pretty accurate. By changing the form of rainfall we revealed that total rainfall is important for evaluating landslide using rain intensity, therefore, we concluded the form of rainfall is relevant to estimated time of landslide.
