[III-460] An unsaturated column test using the excavated rocks containing arsenic
Keywords:excavated rocks, column test, arsenic, unsaturated seepage flow
In order to propose an appropriate water sealing method at a disposal with heavy metal-containing excavated rocks, a study of heavy metal’s elution behavior is important. In this paper, we have investigated the dissolution characteristics of arsenic using the excavated rocks in Oshikado tunnel where the excavated rocks containing natural heavy metal have been shielded by the bentonite mixed soil. The unsaturated column test of the excavated rocks was examined. And we have proposed the numerical model that estimates the elution behavior by the advective diffusion analysis.
