In this study, we focused on the crematorium in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and showed a concern about measures against human damage in the event of an earthquake directly below the capital. Also, we pointed out the problems of the crematorium's treatment capacity and its spatial arrangement based on wide-area cremation, and examined ways to improve it.
