[IV-135] An Approach to the Change of Spatial Structure in Small Urban Areas Around the Station

The purpose of this study is to clarify the change of spatial structure of small urban areas those are dispersed in Iwaki city, Fukushima prefecture. In particular, we defined the area within a 3km radius from the station as “Around area of the station,” then researched and analyzed the built of factory and office, land use of the built-up area in 8 region from the merged 1966 to recent year. As a result, we could clarify the road network changes with arterial road system and its number. And we could clarify quantitatively the built-up area change with the formation point and the area too. It was cleared the actual situation the change is different by the area in the tendency of expansion of urban area.
