The substructure of the Tatenogawa Bridge on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line is a brick abutment. This was built in 1915 when Musashino Railway opened. However, it is not designated as a cultural property. In this study, we introduce the present situation of the Tachinogawa Bridge, investigate the surviving situation of the relics for all the bridges on the same route, and consider the historical value of the abutment in the area along the route and the significance of preservation.
