JR Freight Station plays a part in the logistics infrastructure in relation to the characteristics of the location area. In this paper, taking the case of Ehime Prefecture as an example, we analyzed the characteristics of industry and logistics using cargo flow data, and considered future utilization of freight stations based on it. As a result, it was confirmed even in the shortage of truck drivers in recent years, the share of trucks in long-distance transportation is high. Looking at agricultural and marine products to the Kanto region, it was found about 30,000 tons could be shifted annually from trucks to railways. And this could contribute to the shortage of truck drivers and reducing CO2 emissions.
