[V-22] Study on various performance of cast-in-situ PC deck slab concrete using type IV fly ash
Keywords:Type IV fly ash, Cast-in situ PC deck slab, Early deterioration measures, Improvement of durability, local consumption
Due to the nuclear accident caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, domestic coal-fired power plants are fully operational. Further utilization of discharged fly ash is an issue. On the other hand, in the Tohoku region, early deterioration of concrete slab of road bridges is a problem due to salt damage, frost damage and ASR caused by spraying deicing salt.
In this study, in order to develop high durability concrete for cast-in-place PC slab using Type IV fly ash, mix proportion was confirmed in laboratory, and the workability was confirmed by test construction. In addition, we report the results of modified concrete produced by batching plant based on the problems at the test construction.
