As part of the Shikoku Transit Expressway, Yoshinogawa Ohashi (tentative name) is bridged at the mouth of the Yoshinogawa River, a first-class river running east and west through Tokushima Prefecture. Since the bridge piers and column caps of this bridge are located at the estuary and are greatly affected by salt damage, it is required to suppress the generation of cracks from the viewpoint of improving long-term durability. Therefore, in this report, we report the results of checking the effect of changing the type of cement and the type of aggregate as well as the effect of using expansive materials as a countermeasure against thermal cracking.
