In recent years, surface penetrants have been applied to more severe environmental conditions, such as preventive maintenance of new structures and measures against scaling in cold regions. Therefore, for the purpose of improving the impregnating material, a silane-siloxane surface penetrants having a silane-siloxane concentration of 95% or more was newly prepared. This time, we conducted an exposure test to verify long-term durability in a real environment, and confirmed the chloride penetration resistance of a new surface penetrants.
