[V-320] Investigation of Corrosion State of Spheroidal Graphite Cast Iron Exposed to Air for Long Period (24 years)

As a structure made of spheroidal graphite cast iron, it has been installed for a long time (over 10 years) in the atmospheric environment, such as a lighting column, and has a relatively good appearance. There is no example of quantitative evaluation. Even in past studies, results of only about two years have been obtained at present, and it is necessary to understand the state for a long time in order to improve reliability. Therefore, the corrosion state of the existing spheroidal graphite cast iron lighting column exposed to the atmospheric environment for 24 years and the generated rust were investigated, and the soundness as a structure was evaluated.
