It's reported that when a surface coating material or patching material is applied to existing concrete supplied with chloride-ions, chloride-ions that have penetrated earlier re-diffuse into low-concentration interior. In this study, silane-type surface penetrants was applied to concrete with a chloride-ion concentration gradient formed, and the supply of chloride-ion and repeated wet and dry treatment were performed to examine the change in chloride-ion concentration gradient.
