[V-532] Experimental study on skid resistance of manhole covers

Municipalities have adopted skid-resistant manhole covers in places where there is a high risk as a measure to prevent the motorcycle from slipping on the manhole covers in rainy weather. In addition, consideration must be given to the running safety of bicycles and electric wheelchairs. In this study, we conducted experiments on the driving safety of manhole covers for a motorcycle, and for a bicycle and an electric wheelchair.
As a result, it was found that the skid-resistant manhole covers, which was the subject of this study, had no problems with the running safety of the motorcycle , and there was no problem with the running safety of bicycles and electric wheelchairs.
