Keywords:RC member, Defect, Static loading-experiment, Load-displacement curve, Load-carrying capacity, Deformation performance

This study investigated the influences on load-carrying capacity and deformation performance of RC members, which were caused by exfoliation of RC covers or deterioration of re-bars. The study was based on loading experiments which took an integrity beam and several beams with different defects as objects. Furthermore, the relationships between stiffness and natural frequency of the beams were grasped by using impact vibration test corresponding to each loading event. This paper describes the results of the experiments and the numerical calculation, and the influences due to the defects.
