To improve the reliability of performance evaluation of concrete structures, application of the deterioration monitoring system, which detects initiation of deterioration quantitatively and non-destructively, is one of the most effective methods.

This paper reports the result of 25 years’ sensor monitoring of a RC superstructure of open-type wharf. During the monitoring period, detections of unusual data, data missing due to human errors, damage of peripheral equipment due to a ship accident, and a sensor malfunction were observed.
