The authors have evaluated the durability of asphalt mixtures by repeated torsional shear tests. In the previous studies, repeated torsional shear tests were carried out mainly on two types of binders using a dense asphalt mixture, and it was confirmed that the difference in mechanical properties of the asphalt mixture could be grasped. In this study, repeated torsional shear tests were conducted using various types of binders, and the relationship with asphalt properties was confirmed. As a result of the test, it was found that the repeated torsional shear test can evaluate the fatigue fracture resistance and flow resistance etc. by changing the kind of binder of the asphalt mixture.
