Elastic mechanical properties of concrete are evaluated using sequential data assimilation through uniaxial test of concrete and its finite element analysis. Data obtained through Three-dimensional Digital Image Correlation Method, DIC Method, is analyzed using the Ensemble Kalman Filter comparing the measured surface strain field. DIC can capture concrete surface strain field accurately. Simple loading boundary conditions of uniformly distributed load, with or without boundary friction is not enough to estimate Young’s modulus and Poisson’s ratio with accuracy.
