Introduction
The project is to construct 7km of south main tunnel from Oizumi junction to Inokashia street within Tokyo Gaikaku Ring Road, which is approximately 16km from Kanetsu to Toumei. The project has completed initial tunneling of 480m, and the machine is currently under maintenance for equipment alteration. The project has been incorporating BIM/CIM and CG to maintain quality and safety in addition to improve productivity. This article explains utilization of collaborative VR technology and CG animation for construction management.
