[VI-98] Construction of upstream temporary cut-off in remodeling work of Saigo dam

In order to reduce the risk of inundation around the reservoir,the Saigo Dam,which is a water intake dam for power gereration at Kyushu Electric Power Co.,Ltd.,was remodeled to cut down part of the dam.This report repoets on the problems and measures to be taken whith the installation of the upstream cut-off in the remodeling work.
