柿原トンネルは，北陸新幹線の2,530m区間をNATM工法により構築するものである．終点側約450m区間は営業中のゴルフ場直下で最少土被り13ｍに位置する．当該区間のうち約30m範囲は旧地形図を確認すると沢地形であり，盛土によりゴルフ場を造成していることが判明した．本稿では,当該区間におけるトンネル掘削時の不安定化対策として，調査，対策工の設計および施工結果について報告する．
