The hinged box girder bridge with PC is a bridge type that has been constructed in Japan in large numbers, and a hinge bearing called Gelenk shoe is installed at the center hinge.At this central hinge, corrosion and dysfunction due to the aging of Gelenk shoe have occurred, and sagging due to creep deflection of the box girder concrete has occurred.In these countermeasures, the continuation of the central hinge is often adopted as a reinforcement measure including the B live load.However, the continuation of the central hinge requires large-scale reinforcement, and is not an effective measure against damage to Gelenk shoe.
In this paper, we examined the functional recovery structure of Gelenk shoe alone.
