the major factor affecting the surrounding ground in shield construction is management of excavated soil volume. construction where the continuous belt conveyor is not installed or the cross section where the light cutting device cannot be installed on the first belt conveyor or the belt conveyor on the succeeding carriage for new high-accuracy and low-cost system has been developed that uses 2d-lidar to detect earth and sand on the transporter and calculate the soil volume.
